About the Program
The South East Queensland Trail Bikes and Off-Road Vehicles Program has been developed as an incentive to establish commercial operations outside urban areas of South East Queensland to cater for trail bike riding and four-wheel driving.
Successful applicants

Who Can Apply?
Eligible applicants include:
Private landowners or private lessees in the form of a business, a person or a trust that holds tenure or a current lease over the project site.
To be eligible to apply for funding under this Program, the proposed project site must be located within the local government areas of:
• Scenic Rim Council;
• Brisbane City Council;
• Moreton Bay Regional Council;
• Sunshine Coast Regional Council;
• Somerset Regional Council;
• Lockyer Valley Regional Council;
• Gold Coast City Council;
• Ipswich City Council;
• Logan City Council;
• Redland City Council; or
• Toowoomba City Council.
Important Dates
22 August 2008 - Applications opened
15 December 2008 - Project Plan submissions closed
How Much Funding is Available?
Successful applicants are eligible to receive a one-off funding incentive of up to $25,000 (GST exclusive) from the Department of Communities. This approved funding may be used towards the provision of toilet and camping facilities to cater for visitors to your site.
How to Apply
Please read the South East Queensland Trail Bikes and Off-Road Vehicles Program Guidelines (below) to ensure that you are eligible for funding.
An initial Registration Form is available below. You are recommended to contact a Departmental Advisor who will assist you in completing your Registration form.
Those applicants who successfully meet the 'Stage 1 Registration' criteria will be invited to proceed to 'Stage 2 Project Plan' of the application process.
